Adaptive wavelet schemes and finite volumes

We consider a procedure for combining high order finite volumes and tree-based nonuniform grids. Especially, we focus on efficient algorithms for third order multidimensional volume interpolation and communication between levels of refinement. In the end, numerical results are reviewed to validate our approach.
Résumé
Nous considérons un processus permettant de combiner volumes finis et grilles non uniformes basées sur une structure d’arbre. En particulier, nous nous intéressons à des algorithmes efficaces pour l’interpolation multidimensionnelle en volumes d’ordre trois en précision et pour la communication entre les niveaux de raffinement. Enfin, nous validons notre démarche en analysant les résultats numériques obtenus.
